Today I worked on the final drawing of our desk. I did change the bars to connect the desk to the iHelper, I changed them to be slanted and have a bar in the middle of them. These bars are like this to make the desk more stable. With those bars slanted then they have more area to work with also the bar across keeps these bars from moving closer or further away from each other. This idea seemed better to me and seemed a better and more efficient way to help the desk with the weight of the laptop on the iHelper. Will and Landon worked with the website Home Depot to find parts. We did find that the price dropped on the track systems we needed and also so did the sheet metal lowered also! We are very very surprised that it lowered and we were very happy.

ReplyDeleteGood job making a sketch and thinking about the designs. I would've like to know more about how the actual product was coming along and if you'd actually started on that yet. I think you got really lucky with the pricing and everything and hopefully you can use that to your advantage!
